My little boy is growing up!!!

It was the biggest start! Yesterday Bridge and I were getting ready to go to church when I see Lincoln hiding in the corner pushing face red! ha ha he came over to us after and I said did you go poo poo? and he takes my hand and takes me to his changing table and a put him up there and change his dirty diaper with no problems he just layed there usualy he is trying to get away. he has never done that before! Bridge and I were so excited and then this morning I was laying on the couch watching TV and he kept trying to get me up so I let him. He takes my hand and takes me to his changing table I say did you go poo poo? He nods and I change him no problem. So it is a definite start to potty training I'm am so happy. Its just nice to see how much he is starting to comprehend because he barley talks I keep working with him but he says very little but I know he understands and when I say stuff like go get your shoes he goes and does it. he waves bye give high fives gives bones. He also knows some sign language he say please and more. He is just so dang cute.

It really is so much fun being his Mommy and watching him grow each stage has been fun. He is healthy and happy and that is all I care about.

Things that Lincoln Loves at 19 months

- Broccoli It is so funny but he loves it.

- He loves playing in my car and pushing every button

- loves tuning the Tv off when bridge or I are watching it.

- Cell phones, computers. ipad ect.

- He pushes chairs around to all the light switches and turns them on off on off all day.

- His binky sippy cup and his brown blanky!

Things I loves right now at 23.

- Reading books right know I'm reading a series called the great and terrible by Chris Stewart they are awesome so far.

-My new Michael Kors rose gold watch!

- decorating love everything shabby chic, vintage.

- I love watching tv shows I won't name then all that would be embarrassing but one is the real housewives ha ha I know but I love it I watch all of them but my favorite would be New Jersey.

- Love leaning how to cook.

-Rocky road Ice cream.

The list can go on and on really!

Things Bridger loves at 26. I will have to speak for him since he is out shooting his gun right now but I think I can guess pretty good.

Disneyland!

I forgot to post about Disneyland. Bridge and I stayed an extra day by our selves and wanted to go or more like I wanted to go to Disneyland. We had a great time It really is the happiest place on earth. I can't wait to take Lincoln on day!

First things first My Grandma Lavon got baptized!! Yay its so exciting sadly I wasn't able to make it because of the Thomas family trip but I'm so happy for her that was a very special time for her and our family

Newport Beach!!! This was the first year Bridger and I were able to go on the Thomas family vacation to Newport beach. Because he was on a mission and then doing summer sales so this was so much fun for us to get away! We left Lincoln at home with our good friends Ali and Rick white and also with my awesome sister Sharlena for a few days. It was a much needed Vacation and we had so much fun with the family we stayed at there condo in Newport it was so nice there. The only bad thing was the weather at the beach sucked almost every day just overcast and windy and cold ugh! but we made the best of it. The ocean surprisingly wasn't too cold and it was just nice to not worry about anything and read a book on the beach. Ive been reading this series called the Maze Runner and its is so intense definitely a fun book it makes you think.

Here we are on the Pier in Hunnington Beach It was so pretty! we ate at Ruby's Diner and it was so yummy! I had the best cheese burger and Mud slide shake. And Yes it was probably two thousand calories. Now I'm paying for it!

Bridge and I waiting to get on the catamaran to go see the Dolphins! It was really a fun experience they took us out to go find wild dolphins and we found them alright there were hundreds and they would come right next to the boat. We saw two kinds of Dolphins the Common Dolphin and Rissos Dolphin it was very cool we also saw Sea Lions!

This Picture was taken at Knotts Berry Farm we all had a good time. It reminded me allot of Lagoon they were pretty similar. Bridges little sister Emma was not having it though she was terrified she basically only went on the swings.

This is us on the beach at Balboa Island I loved it there is was so cute the houses there and shops were so fun to look at! This was also like the only day we got some sun on the beach and somehow I missed getting sun screen on my bum and got fried that sucked so I have a crazy tan line.

Life as we know it

Forgive me for the picture over load but I just want to make sure I doucument our life as best I can! It's never a good Idea to igrnore your blog for a few months cause then you have to much catching up to do.

Life in the Thomas family is really good,

Lincoln is finally better after two antibotics his ear infection finally went away!! ahh I hate when he is sick. Today he is 18 months old and yes it has flown by crazy fast. He has four teeth two top and two bottom and they are just so darn cute but he has more coming in any day now. Lincoln just is the cutest little boy he loves to interct with people, He love love loves anything electronic its almost wierd how much! Our computers, cell phones, light switches honestly anything that has an on and off switch or lights up he goes crazy for he just has to touch it and see how it works! He's totally afraid of dogs, loves cats.

I love that he can eat normal food and its so fun letting him try everything for the first time. He loves bannas, grapes, strawberries, clementines and then olives and green beans and top ramen rice he loves most any kind of rice he loves string cheese and then of course any candy, most snacky food. Gold fish he loves and also friut snacks oh and one wierd one beef jerky he loves it! I think mostly cause he always see's his daddy eating it all the time.

Bridge is still really liking his new job he was just gone traveling all week so Im so happy to have him home. We had his grampa Franks 90th bithday party this last sat right after he got home and then his aunt and uncle crawfords farewell on Sunday we will miss them! Then next Sunday is his uncle Bob and aunt kaths farwell they are also leaving to be mission presidents so crazy! We wish them well and will miss them all very much!

A Bad Day

Today I would say has been not so good! Bridge has been gone on a work trip so I've been a little lonely, good thing I have my cute lil buddy to keep me company, but man was he a naughty little pill today!!! Mothers out there how do you do it some days I just want to sit down and cry and sometimes I do. It started with linc waking up earlier than expected and then I couldn't find a babysitter for Lincoln so that I could go to my tennis lesson, that I really love going to last week I had to miss cause Lincoln was sick and this week I was so looking forward to going I really enjoy it getting out and doing something for me!!! So I was so sad that nobody was answering there phones. Then it was 11 the time lincoln takes his nap but no he screamed and refused so I said ok I'll put you back down in a little while long story short he never took a nap I tried several times but he just stood up crying and it just breaks my heart to hear him cry so of course I was on edge cause of that. Ahh I really hope he's not done taking his naps that's like my time to regroup and relax. Since he never took a nap I thought for sure he would go to bed early in past if he doesn't get his nap he falls asleep at like five or six which is heaven but nope instead he wouldn't go to bed till way late for him nine thirty!!! I just never got a break today he was irritable, whinny, and making messes all day like spilling the cereal box all over the kitchen floor. but I can't ever get mad at that adorable little face of his! Every time that kid smiles at me it just lights up my day. At the end of the day I just need to be gratful that I have a great healthy family and tomorrow will be better.

The last few months have really flown by! Bridge started a new job with Silverline Security and I think he is really loving it! The best part is that we don't have to leave this summer YAy!!!!!! We haven't spent a summer in Utah in like three year, six years for Bridger! He is VP of sales and does allot more corporate end of stuff but he will have to travel to different offices over the summer but it will be worth it!

I have been training these last few months for my first half marathon! I have also started taking tennis lesson which I am loving! It has been a good adventure. I never have been a runner never have ever really wanted to I always thought running was the worst thing in the world a mile was a marathon for me! But my three sisters did one together when I was pregnant And they all really loved it. And then My oldest sister Shar told me she really wanted to do another one cause she loved it so much so I thought I would do it with her! One thing for sure I could have never done it without her, we started out slow going to the gym together walking and running and then worked our way up together, there were many days we both didn't want to run but we knew the other person was counting on them so we always did it. I have to admit I enjoy running now it's like your working so hard and then you get done with your goal that day and you get this high. It makes you feel good. Then at our nine mile run I pushed my foot to hard and injured it and I literally could not run on it for two weeks it was so depressing I was working so hard I would have been so sad if I couldn't finish my training and run the race. Two weeks later my foot was feeling almost new so I took it slow and ran the 10 miles and it was great I didn't push my self and It was so much easier for me and I could to it fine. Then the next week I ran my five miles twice and that Sat we couldn't run our planned 8 miles do to the snowy weather and then I caught a cold! So I didn't do anything this week and tomorrow is the big day! Its the Salt Lake Half Marathon! I am super excited I don't know how ready I am but ready or not I will be running tomorrow with my sister Shar. We are super excited, except Shars little boy Austin is at primary children's hospital He went in yesterday and will be staying the weekend. I feel so sorry for the whole situation My nephewAustin is the sweetest happiest little boy and he is allergic to almost everything I swear he is always saying that's not Austin food or this is Austin food he is such a good sport about his whole situation, he has super bad skin and has impetigo on his face that has been really bad lately that just won't go away! Its so bad that nobody knows what to do so he is now in the hospital I just pray that he can get better and they will find how to treat him. so with that said I hope shar can be able to run ok tomorrow!

We have a new addition to our growing family! My sister Stacy gave birth to her first little baby boy Jude Jimmer Towner! April 9th at about 1:20 am. and she is my hero she wanted an all natural birth and that is what she got. She did amazing, better than me I had to leave the room I was getting sick I don't know why I am just not good with all that stuff, I think just knowing she was feeling everything made me nauseous. She was so in the zone and everything went perfect! Congrats Stac and Chad! I 'm so excited to watch our kids grow up together.

Lincoln Is now sixteen months old and couldn't be a more fun, cute little toddler! I love him more than words and each stage just keeps getting more and more fun. I can take him to the park and let him run around he loves going out side I can't blame him everything is so new and exciting. I'm excited for summer to be here! I am also excited I can go through the drive through and get him chicken nuggets and fries for him to eat, he loves it. Oh man he is just growing so fast. He is always making us laugh.

I just want to catch you up on some stuff we have been up to!!!

We took a weekend down south to St George and stayed at my parents fabulous house! We took our good friends with us the Whites and had a great weekend together! Even thought the weather sucked! I hadn't been away for more than a couple hours from Linc in like a eight months so It was such a nice vacation even though is was raining all weekend! I got to go to movies read my book take naps, go out to eat! all whenever I wanted no making sure Linc has a babysitter or if he is napping! it was a nice break from being a mommy which I love more than anything but everybody needs a break! We had high hopes for good weather Ali and I brought our tennis racquet's and I'm really happy we took up all the car space with three golf club bags that never got to be used!! But we did get to do the two things I was really looking forward to doing and that was seeing the Parade of Homes and going to lunch with my cute Grandma Lavon. She has Coloscapy and has had a really hard time with it but you would never know it cause she is always so happy and so sweet I love her!

Valentines Day!!! We had such a great Valentines day we went up to our favorite restaurant the Tree Room and the our friends the Whites came with us and had we a seriously fabulous Valentines dinner up a Sundance!

I hate when your baby is sick the only good thing is that he will snuggle with you all day! But yesterday was Stacy's Baby shower which was so fun to see old friends that you haven't seen in awhile and your family can't wait to watch Stacy become a Mommy. but Lincoln was not having it poor kid he did pretty good. but he cried the whole way home and I thought maybe he was just really tired but he would not sleep so I took him out and he was still screaming I was starting to get scarred he started arching his back and doing all these weird positions screaming like he was in allot of pain. so I started crying cause I didn't know what to do so Bridge and I took him to the insta care and the doctor said that he look fine and by then he had calmed down and was actually doing allot better probably from the Advil I gave him. But she said his ears nose throat all looked fine so bridge and I were like really? I thouht he might have been teething cause he had had a fever but she told me that was an old wives tale. I just wish some times he could tell me whats wrong. But here is it the next day and he still doesn't feel good he won't eat hardly any thing, poor little guy, but he is sleeping good! He went to sleep last night at 7:30 and didn't wake up till the next day at almost 12 in the afternoon!!! Then went back down for a nap at 1:30 till almost 5 and we had to wake him up so we could go to Sunday dinner at Bridger's parents house! Which we always look forward to Mindy is such an amazing cook! I learn so much from her. She is really such a awesome mother in law.

I love to Read!

I love to read there is nothing better than sitting down for some quiet time and getting lost in a good book! I just finished "I am number Four" and instantly loved it. Some books take awhile to get into them but from the beginning I was totally into it! They made a movie out of it that's how I first herd about it so I read it super fast on my nook for android and couldn't put it down. So when finished it, I was begging Bridger to take me to see it! After some begging he finally took me because he said he loved me that was it. Bridge hates Si-Fi but we went and I have to admit it was not nearly as good as the book but I guess they never are! How can you but every detail of a whole book in about two hours but I loved the actors in it so I thought it would be better. Any way there is a sequel so I'm super excited for it to come out. This past month I also re-read the city of bones series by Classandra Clare which I am completely obsessed with! I even liked them for the second time through even more. There are three of them and the fourth one comes out in 30 days I can't wait!!!! Those are a must read in my opinion! Wow I know I am such a nerd. Bridger always makes fun of me for how much I love to read all my nerdy books! Tonight I'm starting this book called "Water for Elephants" I've been hearing allot about it so I'm excited to get started all I know is that is has to do with the circus in the 1960's and is also a movie that is coming out soon with Robert Pattenson is in it with Reese Witherspoon and me being a huge Twilight fan I gotta go see that! I swear they make a movie out of every book. and I don't know why but I always have to go see it even though they never are as good as the book itself.

Bridger is so close with his Grandma Joyce! I love her too! She has had a hard year battling cancer but I'm happy to say she is cancer free! We are so happy to have her in our lives.
